College & Career Transition Resources

At Oskaloosa High School we have two school counselors. Amy Simmons primarily works with students A-L, and Nicole VandeWall M-Z. As school counselors they work with students in three areas; social emotional learning, career readiness, and academics. 

They assist students with career and college readiness, and meet with students to focus on improving mental health and behavioral symptoms through individual and group counseling and education.

We also have a College and Career Transition Coach, Cari McClellan. The role of this coach is to aid school counselors, students, and families to explore, plan and prepare for life after high school.
