Happy Friday; Today is March 13th

Here are your announcements for today: 

Spring sports signups are open in the athletic office. You must be registered through the athletic office to participate.

Spring eSports signups have begun.  This Trimester we will be competing in Marvel Rivals and Mario Kart 8.  Sign up in the activities office to join us.

Reminder to all students - the south parking lot is for STAFF only. Students parking in the staff lot is not allowed.

Prom 2026, A Night of Chance, will be held on Saturday, April 11th for Juniors and Seniors and their dates. Cost is $45 per person.  If you sell 6 Spirit Cards, you get one free prom ticket. Prom cards may be picked up in Mrs.Gile's room.  

The boys soccer team is looking for a manager! If interested contact Coach Jordan Van Wyk at vanwykj@oskycsd.org or come to the activities office. 

Mark your calendars for the Spring Play, The Mouse That Roared! Join us on March 27th and 28th, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM, so come early and grab a good seat Tickets are just $6 for general admission, and you won’t want to miss this hilarious comedy brought to life by our talented cast and crew. For more information, check out the posters hanging in the hallway. 

Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Please check your email for this year's May Term course descriptions. Sign ups will begin on March 9th.

ICAN will be hosting a Future Ready Career and College Fair on Sunday March 29th at the Hotel at Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Many colleges, apprenticeships and military representatives will be present. This is perfect for Juniors, Sophomores and parents. Poster is located on the board outside Student Services. 

There will be an informational meeting today after school at 2:30 in Mr. Ferstein's room for all of those interested in baseball this season. 

Oskaloosa Elementary School will be hosting a parent workshop and are looking for some student volunteers who would be interested in earning a couple silver cord hours by providing childcare for the parents attending the workshop.

The dates are:

March 30 4:45 to 6:00pm

April 2 3:45 to 5:00pm

They will provide everything you need, you just need to show up! Feel free to volunteer for just one day or both. If interested contact Samantha Doll at OES.

Reminder to all students that they must turn right out of the parking lot. 

Two reminders as we get into Tri 3 from the activities office.

1. Gyms in any building cannot be used by students without prearranged adult supervision and the activities office. This is for your safety.

2. The PAC at William Penn University is not for free use. Students must be there for a scheduled practice or invitation from WPU to be there. This is a private gym and not for free public use by our students.
