Last week, a group of OHS students attended the District 5 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Conference for competitive events. Emma Adams and Camryn Cassens competed in Job Interviews, with Emma taking 1st place and Camryn taking 3rd!

Yesterday, the OHS Student Council celebrated American Education Week by delivering treats to staff members across the district, expressing gratitude for their dedication to education. 🤝 From the front office to the classrooms, our teachers and staff play a vital role in shaping the future. 🙌

OHS Student Council hit the highway to make a difference in the community. Student Council members cleaned up a stretch of Highway 23, showing our commitment to keeping Oskaloosa beautiful and litter-free! 🌍💪

87 OHS Student Council members attended the State Leadership Conference, hosted by Iowa Association of Student Councils (IASC), with over 1,450 other student council members and advisors from around the state!
The event took place at Johnston High School on Sunday, October 29 and Monday, October 30. Students made many new friends and listened to some great speakers while learning more about leadership.
🌟 Student Council Advisor Kim Gile is the Executive Director for the Iowa Association of Student Councils
🌟 State Officer Ava Ridenour and District Officer Reese Milburn-Van Wyk acted as emcees for parts of the program
🌟 Kimberly Terpstra was selected as an elect state officer and will start her term on December 6
🌟 OHS StuCo Executive Board presented 4 break-out sessions to over 150 students and advisors
