*Wednesday is our final day of the 24-25 school year, with a 12:30 dismissal for OMS students. 8th graders and families - be sure to check out the HIGH SCHOOL portion of our district’s website. Announcements, messages, activities for you will be posted there. Good luck at OHS in the fall.
Oskaloosa Summer Lunch Program will have an informational kick off meeting at the same time that the Public Library kicks off their reading program - which will be June 2, 5-7pm at the public library. Here, you’ll get information about BOTH great summer opportunities for families, complete with all dates and locations. The flyer for this can be found in the VIRTUAL BACKPACK on the school district’s website - under the parents tab.
BADMINTON info: The 6th Grade and 7th/8th Grade All-School Badminton Tournaments will take place this morning. Please check your PE Google Classroom or the Office window to see if you have qualified for the tournament. The 6th grade tournament will be played first with the 7th/8th Grade tournament to follow.
Yearbooks are still available on a first come first served basis, If you have not purchased a yearbook, you may pay with cash or check at the office window. The cost is $15
*Drivers Education information: Drivers ed meeting for students who are in summer drivers ed.
Will be TODAY at 3:20 at OHS cafeteria.
OMS Baseball practice has begun and will run 3:45 - 5:15. The location will either be at OHS baseball field or at Lacey complex - depending on availability. Messages will be shared with team players and parents via TEAMREACH.
Just a reminder from our district’s Wellness Policy:
Our district wellness policy states:
"Students will be allowed to bring and carry (approved) water bottles filled with only water with them throughout the day."
This means that energy drinks, coffees, sodas etc. are not permitted during our school day. If you have questions or concerns, please visit with a member of the wellness staff.

All District Parents/Guardians: Online Registration for RETURNING families and students for the 25-26 school year will open up and be available beginning July 9th. Now is a great time to make sure you have your Infinite Campus Parent Portal log-in information ready to go. If you need assistance with your username and password please reach out to your student’s building secretary (at OMS, contact D’Arcy in the OMS office).

Check out the district’s APP and website and look for the VIRTUAL BACKPACK! It’s filled with camp information for all ages, all year long and is a great resource for our district families 24/7. It’s here, where you’ll also find a flyer that has Osky Schools SUMMER SPORTS CAMP information.
*WPU Applied Technology Summer Camp will be June 16-19 from 8-noon. This is a 4 day hands on experience camp where students explore technology, solve problems and design solutions with guidance from WPU instructors. Activities include CAD, plastic injection, molding, woodworking and electronics - an exciting chance to create, innovate and have fun. Registration is $150. RSVP by June 8.
