Starting August 25, Oskaloosa Schools will transition from the long-used “rSchool” scheduling system to Bound, a statewide activities platform. The change follows a unanimous Little Hawkeye Conference vote in February 2025 to adopt Bound for all conference scheduling beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
For parents, the biggest change will be where they find event information. The activities link on the school website will now take families directly to Bound, where they can view schedules, rosters, statistics, and even purchase postseason tickets.
Activities Director Jamie Jacobs said the move brings consistency across Iowa athletics and activities. “It’s an all-in-one platform that’s already being used by many non-conference schools we play,” Jacobs explained. “It’s modern, easy to navigate, and keeps everything in one place.”
The current rSchool system will be maintained through the end of this school year, but will not be renewed for 2026-27. Until then, schedules will still be updated in both systems.
