Meal Prices for 2024-2025
Due to changes made to Food Service Guidelines by the USDA, both breakfast and lunch resumed full price in August 2022. We appreciate your understanding that this is not a local decision, but guidance issued from the USDA and State organizations that we are required to follow. Current meal prices are listed below.
Your student may qualify for free or reduced meals by filling out an Iowa Application for Free & Reduced Price School Meals. Applications for school year 25-26 are coming soon, we can provide assistance needed to complete them. If you are unsure whether you qualify or not, we encourage you to fill out a Free/Reduced application to determine your eligibility.
Parents should continue to deposit money in student accounts to cover any "extra" purchases such as extra milk or other al a carte items.
Parents can contact the Food Service Program with Oskaloosa Schools to have al a carte options revoked for their students if they so choose.

If you're interested in applying for free/reduced meals, please feel free to pick up an application at the Central Office - 1800 North 3rd Street, or click the link below, print and complete the application. Return completed applications to Central Office up until August 1. After August 1, please return to your child's building.
Lunch Account Balances:
You can view your child's lunch account balance by logging onto the Parent Portal & clicking on 'Food Service.' If you don't have access to the Parent Portal account, please contact any building secretary, & they will be happy to create an account for you.

In addition, if your lunch account balance reaches $10.00 or less, you will automatically receive a balance notification email @ 2:00pm each day.
Payments:
You may send cash or check with your student or bring it to the office to apply to your account.
Online payments can be made on the Campus Parent Portal.
