⨠One of the proactive Behavior Leadership Strategies OES teachers are using is 'Strategic Noticing.' Strategic Noticing involves recognizing positive behaviors or academics, encouraging students to repeat these behaviors. If you notice positive behaviors frequently, it not only makes positive behavior more common but also enhances your positivity! At OES, our goal is to strategically notice once every 90 seconds. We challenge you at home to strategically notice your child 15 times this next week.
Examples for home:
ā
I noticed you completed your homework without being asked.
ā
I noticed you cleaned up right after dinner.
ā
I noticed you hung up your backpack right when you walked in the door.
